Viva Las Vegas!

This is the Palazzo. How exquisite these hotels are inside!!!
Since I'm not yet 21, I got the wonderful job of going to the arcades with the 10-year-old instead of going to the casinos. lol it turned out to be kinda fun. I even won the jackpot of 122 tickets on one game! ha ha My nephew looks pretty intense in this picture. :-)
Hubby actually was nice to me and decided to join us at the arcades for a little bit. He even won me this I love you heart. How sweet huh!

Here is my nephew at Circus Circus
Here's me and my mum at Excalibur. We went to the Tournament of Kings. (a dinner show)
Here is the King we were cheering for. (the one on the horse not my husband lol)

My nephew being silly at the coca-cola store

Here's my hubby and nephew and my brother's friend and then my brother.
Here is the fountains at the Bellagio...Pretty cool, especially cause it matches the music.

Well, Vegas was SOOO much fun. I'm really glad we took our nephew cause it was a lot of fun with him. Thanks to the fam that we went with, it was a great trip and will give us laughs for YEARS to come!

Las Vegas...Here we come!

So tomorrow morning we head off to Sin City for my brother's Fila National Wrestling Tournament. He will be wrestling in the college division! So crazy. Anyway, earlier my sister posted about my nephew being excited about coming with us. lol I thought she was exaggerating. I'm really glad he is coming. He was packed about a week ago! Of course if I were ten and going on a trip with my grandparents and my coolest aunt, I would be stoked too. This is him walking around outside with his suitcase and gameboy around his neck. Mind you we weren't even leaving to go to my mom's yet. He just can't contain his excitement. It's awesome!

Here he is posing with his younger brother.

Here he is waving at his dad as he pulled up.

It Gone!

This is me being pretend scared by my new hair lol
This is me and husband
My sister also got a haircut on Saturday. (less drastic but way cute!)
We all matched at church on Sunday so we took a picture!
This is me. Chin looks a little chubby lol sorry!

So I went to get a dark brown weave in my hair on Saturday. As she was dying it, I was thinking to myself. I think I want to cut all my hair off lol. SO I DID! I like it so far. It was pretty bold of me but surprisingly it didn't bother me at all! I wasn't scared to do it and I like the result. Totally unexpected but luckily Husband really likes it! (or so he says ha ha) Anyway...what do you think?

Girls Night

Here's belated pictures from girls night.

Magnificent

Before we went inside. It was really windy!

This is after the session the reflection pool and temple is behind us.

We thought the moon looked way cool and it is just a good picture with it behind Angel Moroni

Here is my sister and her husband kissing after. lol cute huh

Last night we went to the Salt Lake Temple for an endowment session. It was Jen's Stake Temple night and she had to conduct the music. She did really well. It was my first time going to the Salt Lake Temple. Oh my goodness, it is the most amazing building I've ever seen in my entire life. It was so magnificent. We had a great night and I'm glad I got to go with my sister and her husband. I hope we can continue to go the temple together! It makes me feel so good when we go.

Death and Life

This is very touching. Read the blog that's on the left side. It made me think more about death and I love how it says that not only should we care about life we also need to care about those that are dying. It's really cool. This is my favorite quote from it: “It’s absurd really. It’s only now that I have cancer that, for the first time ever, I really want to live,” Roswitha told me on one of my visits, a few weeks after she had been admitted to the hospice. “They’re really good people here,” she said. “I enjoy every day that I’m still here. Before this my life wasn’t a happy one”

Live each day to it's fullest and tell the special people in your life how much you care about them.

Is this a sign?

Okay, so I had a hold on my registration because I was over 60 credit hours and had not declared my major. Because I'm so indecisive. (I think that's how you spell it?) Anyway, so I decided on Exercise and Sport science with an emphasis in Fitness Leadership. Sounds cool huh. lol jk. I made an appointment to meet with an advisor so that I can officially declare my major and register for Fall classes. My appointment was at noon, so I left work at 11:30. I was about to pull into the parking lot and it was 11:58, so I thought I'd be a polite person and inform my advisor that I'd be late. She wasn't the most pleasant person. I was informed that I could not meet with her if I was more than 10 minutes late. (yes, a department policy that is no where on the website and I was never told when making the appointment) (even though she knew I was in the parking lot) I was also informed that since I was declaring my major I needed the whole 30 minutes allotted for my appointment and there was another student with at 12:30 appointment. lol so I ran to my appointment. Literally took off my high heels and ran there cause she had me so paranoid! I got there by 12:05 and guess when I left. Take a guess. About 12:16. lol good thing I was scared out of my mind. Oh well, next time I'll be on time for sure! :-) ( I only have to meet with her once a year) ha ha. It wasn't so bad. I'm glad to finally have that done because I was really stressing about it! Here's a little exercise comic to make you smile after my rude story. (sorry for the complaints!)

Late Night

Okay, so last night my sis came over and we went shopping and then we went back to my apartment and started watching the Office at around 7ish. When Husband came home from school around 8:30 we were still watching it. My sister was at my house until after 1:30am! It is the funniest (I know that's not technically a word) show in the whole world. I was like peeing my pants laughing the whole time. It is addicting. We just kept watching episode after episode. I think we got through like 2 and 1/2 discs of season 3. I'd only watched a couple of episodes before this, and thought they were kinda funny, but I just think they're hilarious! Anyway, I have a feeling that when I go to my mom's to watch Idol tonight, I will be watching the office before and after! lol
Michael: Buisness is like a jungle and I am like a tiger and Dwight is like a monkey that stabs the tiger in the back with a stick. Does the tiger fire the monkey? DOes the tiger transfer the monkey to another branch? Pun. There is no way of knowing what goes on inside the tiger's head. We don't have the technology.
Dwight Schrute: When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered, that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No, I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

The End, Well the Beginning

Well, it's over. Tryouts I mean. We're just beginning into the stress! haha After about seven hours of study, debating, and analyzing we finally have our 2008-2009 cheerleaders! I never thought it would be so tough. We have a total of 33 girls and 1 boy. 17 on varsity, 12 on JV and 5 on the sophomore squad. It wasn't easy at all. But I think we'll have a really strong varsity squad and we have tons of potential on JV. Anyway, we're thrilled and I'm so excited to start working with and getting to know these girls! They don't know which squads their on yet, so it's fun for us and not so fun for them. lol They'll find out the week after next.

I'm dead tired, but very happy it's Friday. We get to go to lunch with MIL and a SIL. Woo Hoo! We're going to OLIVE GARDEN!

Tryouts

This year I'm helping at my alma mater as the assistant cheer coach. Well, today is tryouts! AAHHHH!!! I'm pretty excited. And surprisingly nervous. I guess just cause I want to pick the right people for the team. I've been praying for Heavenly Father to help us because sometimes I think there is great divine intervention when someone makes or doesn't make something. I know it sounds odd. Truth betold, I am odd! lol Anyway, I'm really excited! These girls have been working so hard for about a month and it's hard to turn any of them away! So, good luck to everyone! Even to us coaches! I think we'll have a really good group of girls so it'll be awesome! I am in a really good mood if you cant tell from all of my exclamations! ha ha ciao

Go Jazz Go!

The final score!
Me and Daddy at the game!

Cool shot of Harpring
Kyle Korver of course!
The Jazz bear is awesome!
Kyle had just made a 3-pointer! Awesome! He's so good!

I went to the Jazz game with my Daddy last night. They totally killed the Wizards it was awesome. It was the fourth biggest spread in team history I believe. And the most amount of 3-pointers ever! It was awesome! CJ Miles did so good! 29 points!

ROFL!

Hello all! Happy April Fools' Day! lol at work my friend gave a message to a guy in the service department and it said to call Mr. Behr. The number was the number for the Hogle Zoo! lol it was so funny. So I did it to one of our salesmen. It was so funny. Can you imagine calling a Zoo and asking for Mr. Bear! lol my stomach hurts from laughing. He told me I'm now on his hit list so I better be careful! ha ha
