Nursery

We finally put together the crib in the nursery. Ty had an interesting way of putting it together. But he got the job done! Grandma J got the bedding for my shower. I really like the way it looks. And sugar likes it too. She likes being able to look at all the colors on the bumpers.

Motherhood

One of the most challenging things so far for me as a mother is unloading groceries, with a screaming baby, trudging up the stairs at our condo with my out of shape postpartum body. lol Babies sure don't like waiting strapped in their car seat while you put away the ice cream before it melts! But I do love my sugar and I'm so grateful that I get to spend all day with her!

Jam

Thanks to my sister I was able to MAKE jam. It was very easy and it tastes so good if I do say so myself. :-) Thanks Jen for being the best homemaker so I can just copy everything you do. :-) I just chopped up strawberries added sugar and the no-cook pectin. Voila I'm a mom making jam. lol

Fun Night

My nephews are off track this month so we decided to invite them over. We decided not to leave the princess out so she came too. It actually hasn't been too bad with all five kids. But the baby has pretty much been sleeping the whole time. :-) Last night we had lots of fun. We played games, went to the park, ate treats, and watched movies.

The boys decided they wanted to watch school of rock. Well, that's not the most exciting movie to a 4 year old girl so she decided to watch Ice Age 2. On our personal dvd player. In the hall. :-)
I love these kids. They're so much fun. I want to spend as much time with them as I can as the "cool aunt" cause once the baby gets older and I'm an official responsible mom, I don't think I'll be as cool. lol

Updates

I can't believe how fast babies grow! She's already at six weeks! Being a mom is an adventure but I do love it. Everything is going good with us. We love the condo and our new ward. I'm excited to get to know everyone!
We just sold our truck yesterday! I absolutely loved the truck and am sad not to have it, but it helps out financially! We are so blessed.
My brother got his mission call to Mozambique (in Africa!) and leaves at the end of June. He comes home from school in Iowa in a couple weeks and we can't wait to see him. We're hoping to spend as much time with him before he leaves.
My sister Ashley is due in about 6 weeks and we can't wait to see baby girl #3!
I registered for classes for the fall and I'm so excited about getting back to school. I just want to finish quickly. But it has been so weird not going to class this semester. I'll be glad to learn new things and further my education again.
Anyway I love spring and being able to take walks with the baby and being outside. Life is just great right now for us!

Back from the Dead

Yay! We now have internet at our condo. So you'll be hearing a lot more from me. I'm so excited you have no idea. I've been feeling so isolated from society. And Ty just got rabbit ears so now I'll be able to watch idol, the office, and the news. I'm ecstatic!

Yay!

Well, we're finally in. We moved into our condo this week. It has been so much fun organizing everything. My favorite was organizing my closet. Sorry the picture is from my phone. I will try to update as much as possible but I don't have internet at home. I'm going crazy after a week without it so hopefully I'll get it soon. It is so much fun having a place of our own. It's nice to spend time with the baby and get to know her and her personality. I do get lonely sometimes but I have been keeping everything very clean. :-) Once my sister helps me decorate I will post pictures of everything else!
