Happy Birthday!!!

Tomorrow...well in fifteen minutes...my younger brother turns 18!!!! AHHHHH jk Now my parents children are all officially adults. I posted a hundred pictures of him because I think he's so cute. The last two pictures are him opening the gift I gave him. Yeah, I'm lame and got him a wrestling t-shirt and shorts. (because he doesn't have very many, he only has about a thousand other wrestling shirts lol) I just want him to know that I think he's amazing and that I love him and hope he has a good birthday! Love you, you're my hero!

Good Things Utah

So my sister won a contest on Good Things Utah, so we went to the show this morning to see the segment about it. They even showed us on it today! It was crazy! I have never really watched this show but it was still so much fun to go to! I'm glad I went with her.

Wonderful Weekend

We had the kids sleepover on Sunday night. One, to give their parents a break and a night by themselves. Two, to have some fun!!! I think there was a total of 6 movies watched at our house while they were there. :-) Since it was gloomy weather their only option was to watch movies. Kids get restless in 450 square feet. lol It was the princess' first time sleeping over and I was afraid she'd have a really hard time, but it went really smooth and I think she had fun.

She let me paint her nails, but in return I had to let her paint mine. Wow, I had nail polish all over my fingers. :-) it was fun

We had a bbq at my mom and dad's under the carport. My BIL surprised us all with a pinata. It was lots of fun. The food was great and I got lots of candy! ha ha

Here is my brother with the princess. She is really getting into her cupcake. I just thought by brother looked cute in this picture so I put it on here. After the bbq we all went to the Bees game. Here are the boys with bumble (the mascot obviously lol) It was really cold and we lost...but it was still fun. I love spending time with family. It is my favorite thing to do.

Tyler's New Toy

So...after weeks of obsession I finally cracked and Tyler got his long wanted bike. He loves it so much. I get VERY nervous to have him ride it everyday. :-) But it is great on gas and is very great for him. We are hopefully getting rid of our truck here soon so we can be saving lots of money! So everyone make sure you check your blindspot and look out for people on motorcycles. You never know when it will be someone's beloved husband. :-)

Unemployed

Well, I've decided to leave my job...so if anyone has a great idea where I can find a great flexible job let me know!!! :-)

So, the Jazz game didn't go as well as anyone hoped but it was still so awesome to be there! I almost cried when the players came out cause I'm such a dork. It was just really exciting. The Lakers blew us out the whole first three quarters. In the last four minutes they really stepped it up but couldn't pull through. I'm really glad I got to go. I have liked Kobe Bryant ever since he came into the NBA when he was 18. And this is the first time I've gotten to see him in person so that was exciting too! Thanks so much David for taking me! I loved going!

Go Jazz Go!

So... Tonight is game six of the Western Conference Semis. Correct...yours truly!!! I'm so excited! I'll totally take pictures and post them hopefully this weekend. My older brother has two season tickets and tonight he's taking me!!! I had Tyler go and buy me a Kyle Korver jersey last night. So, I'm all set. I had to close at work last night and I had practice at six and then had to open at work this morning so I'm feeling quite tired! I'm trying not to drink so much pop and definately not caffeine so I'll either need a nap or maybe the adrenaline will just fire me up!!! lol Can you tell I'm happy to be going? Anyway, Jen I'm gonna need to come get a face tattoo and then I'll be ready to go!! GO JAZZ!!!

Farm Fun

This weekend we went down to Mt. Pleasant to visit MIL and we took down my niece so she could see all the farm animals. We saw sheep, horses, cows, pigs, pheasants, ducks, etc! She loves animals so she had such a blast! I think we had just as much fun watching her! She was well behaved the whole time and she kept saying the funniest (I know that isn't a word) things. I wonder what husband thinks of us, because the girls in my family love being on farms and in the outdoors. We're so fascinated by it. He grew up around it so I wonder if he thinks we're weirdies. Anyway it was such a fun day and we'll have to take the nephews down with us next time!

Visitor

So we saw this squirrel in our backyard!!! cool huh? We first saw it on Saturday and then I saw it again when I got home yesterday so i took a picture of him. I was being so quiet sneeking up on him! lol Sorry about the mess in the background. That's the lovely shed that us and the upper tenants "share" too bad there isn't any room for our stuff! Oh well, we'll be out of there soon! Anyway, it's not everyday you get to see cool animals in your backyard. That's why I like living in older neighborhoods. It's awesome. Awhile back, we saw a chipmunk running on the power lines in front of our house. What an adventure huh? ha ha

I'm Free!

Well, at least for a couple weeks. I'm officially halfway done with school, well I've been to school for two years. Let's just hope I graduate in four! I love having the feeling of going home and not feeling guilty about watching tv. I start the summer semester on the 13th, but I'm only taking one class so I'm actually excited. I've been taking online classes for two semesters now. It's convenient, but I hate it and learn almost nothing, so it'll be great being back up on campus. I'm really hoping I can focus on it and do really well!
