Great End to a Great Weekend

On Sunday we travelled down to Ty's mom's house and slept over. On Monday we visited Ty's dad's grave and spent time with his family down there. It was such a pretty day. Then we went to the farm and Sugar got to see horses for the first time. She didn't like when he licked her foot! I was sad I didn't get to ride a horse when we went down, but I will next time.
Then we travelled back up to my sister's for a bbq with my family and her in laws. We played baseball and laughed and had a great time. This is my mom with the two little ones
Ty took today off and so we decided to go to the zoo. I hadn't been for a couple years and he hadn't been since elementary! It was lots of fun. Sugar slept pretty much the whole time but it was fun to walk around and not worry about calming her down.
After that we went to the driving range again and I did a lot better. We had to stop at Wal-mart for a few things and in their mark down bakery items I saw these:
Huge peanut butter cup cookies. I love peanut butter and chocolate. Oh my goodness it was so good. I almost died. So soft and yummy. I think I might have to go back and get the rest that were marked down for the rest of my family. :-)

This is one of my first tries. The huge divot is where I hit and the ball is where I was supposed to hit! lol

So if you know my husband at all, you know his third love (after me and the baby), golf. He's completely obsessed. He doesn't go nearly as often as he'd like and he's always trying to talk me into learning. Well, i don't like to look like a complete idiot so I always turn him down. I've been to the driving range once, for a prom activity my senior year. I decided to humor him and go to the driving range. Good thing he's patient with me and a good teacher. :-) I was absolutely horrendous. It's a lot harder than it looks 3/4 of the time I missed the ball! I think I'll go again and see if I start doing any better but it was good to spend time together and see Ty so happy to be golfing with me.

Mother's Day

My first mothers day was pretty good. Whitney's face pretty much shows what her attitude was the whole day lol. She wasn't very happy. But Ty bought me clothes and made me breakfast and so it was a good day.

Mr. Homemaker

This morning I was feeling really sick (and I'm still feeling sick) so Ty decided to take the day off work to help me out. He let me go back to sleep for a couple hours. In the meantime he cleaned half the condo, played with and put the baby to sleep. When I woke up he make me french toast. He's making me look bad. :-) Maybe he should stay home and I'll be the bread winner lol. I'm very grateful for him and all his help. He treats me awesome.

Sugar got blessed yesterday. She was so adorable. We had great support from friends and family. Grandma J made the dress and did an amazing job. My mom got all the accessories. Sugar was so cute. She was in a good mood the whole day. We are so blessed and couldn't be happier at this point in our lives!
