Growing Up

We've started feeding Sugar baby cereal. She's actually doing pretty good. A lot of it comes right back out, but she does manage to eat some of it. :-) It's so much fun to watch a baby grow up right before your eyes.

So, Sugar doesn't like to sleep on her back anymore. Now, it's only her side or stomach. I thought she looked cute with her little bum sticking up into the air. Notice the thighs. They doubled in size this week. :-)

So the second time we took Sugar swimming, she loved it! And we've been 2 more times since then! I bought a baby floating and she was in it like normal, but then I switched her so she was just lounging in it. lol I thought she looked cute. I'm glad she likes swimming now cause it feels so great to escape from the heat!

Sugar tries to eat anything and everything that's by her mouth at all. This is her trying to grab the camera so she can eat it. :-)

Updates

My sister and 4 of her kids and my brother came down to swim at our condo. It was lots of fun and I hope we do it again soon. Sugar hated the water! She loves baths but I guess the pool was too cold for her. She screamed and screamed! I did manage to capture her being pleasant though. :-)We took my niece down to the farm so she could ride a horse on Friday. Saying that she loves horses is an understatement. Almost every toy she plays with or movie she watches has something to do with horses. She was so excited seeing all the horses on our way down to the farm and loved riding. She even got to hold the reigns (is that spelled right?) a little bit and she really liked that.


After we left the farm we got to go to the Ute Stampede. It's becoming a tradition for Ty and I to go down. This was our 3rd year going. We always love it. Almost my whole family came down so it was lots of fun to be with everyone.


My niece and nephews had so much fun. This was my niece's first time at a rodeo. Any time a horse would leave the arena she would ask "Do you think we'll see another horse?" lol She was so captivated the whole time as you can see in the picture.
We've been pretty busy and having a great time. Getting excited for another nephew coming in about 5 weeks!

4 Months

Yeah Sugar is 4 months old today. I'm sorry she has drool all over her in all the pictures lol. She is very fun and it is a new adventure with her all the time! I can't believe she is 1/3 of the way to being a year old! Holy cow. Where does the time go?

4th of July

My favorite part of the parade is when the cops on bikes go past and do tricks. It's just awesome and makes me feel like a little kid again. lol

We discovered that Sugar likes sugar! She liked sucking on my red vines. :-) Like mother like Daughter!

I love the 4th of July! I love the Magna parade and fireworks. Without those, we might as well not even celebrate our Independence. :-) We also got to go to a baseball game, which I loved because it's been so long since I've watched a game.

Books

I love reading. Not quite as much as my sister Wendy. But I thoroughly enjoy a good book. I just finished reading Still Alice. It's about a woman with early onset Alzheimers. It was a great book. I decided, like Wend, to put a list on the side of my blog of all the books I've read. If you ever want a review of any of them, you can have my opinion. lol
