Long Update

Sorry I've been absent lately. I don't really have any excuses because so far this summer Sugar and I have just been lazy and hanging out most days. But better late than never right? Here's what's been going on:

Ty's nephew got married this past weekend. We're so happy for him and his beautiful bride. He actually had a bicycle accident a week before the wedding, so it was a miracle he was able to be in such good health for the wedding!

Happy Belated Fathers Day to my dad and wonderful husband. They are such great examples to all the children around them. Ty celebrated by golfing earlier in the week so I only got pics of my dad on Fathers Day. And, they are what he does best, reading.

Sugar's favorite thing to do is climb in and on things. The other day she decided she wanted to climb in the bottom oven drawer. There's never anything in there so it's easy for her to open. She likes to put pans and toys in there because it's noisy. I actually think in this pic that my phone is in the drawer too lol.

Memorial Day was lots of fun. We stayed most of the weekend down at my MIL's but we came up for a picnic with my family on Monday.

At Grandma's, Sugar discovered the piano and loves playing it.

We visited Ty's Dad's grave. Sugar was interested in the headstone this time.

While we were down there we went for a four-wheeler ride with Ty's mom and step-dad. It was so much fun. It was Sugar's first time on one and she fell in love right away. She did not want to get off of it.

Sugar was helping make dinner. She'd hand me the potatoes so I could peel them

I made my first turkey this week. It took longer than I planned, but it actually didn't turn out that bad. I was glad to have some of my family over.

My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dennis came out to Wendover so we went out and had a fun night with her.

Although she helped a lot with dinner, she is not as good of a help when I'm doing laundry. She loves to wreck nice piles and baskets of clean clothes.

Fun Farm Weekend

Last weekend we went down to the farm and to visit Ty's mom and brother. We had lots of fun. Sugar has been learning lots of animals and animal sounds, so we decided to let her see them in person. She really liked seeing them, except when they would get close to her face. Then she gets scared. I really love going down there. I love seeing the animals and feeling peace and quiet away from the city.

We saw these buffalo in with the cows. I didn't know they could live together, but looks like they make pretty cool pets!
Sugar was being leary of the horses. We tried to get her to feed them, but she wasn't havin' that.
If you say "So Big" or "Put your Arms Up" She'll do it. She also will pull her hair if you ask her where her pretty hair is. :-)
She discovered the piano and tried to help Natalie play. :-) She thought it was really cool that she could make noise with it.

Happy Easter!!!

This is the first real Easter that Sugar has had because we had just moved in and she was a couple weeks old last year. She was excited to get a book and a new stuffed animal. She takes after her parents and loves Reese's! She gets really excited when she sees the wrapper and it was the first thing she pulled out of her basket. I gave her a bite then I handed her the rest of the egg and she shoved the rest of it in her mouth! It was hilarious. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend!

Girls' Night

Sugar got scared cause I put her close to the big rabbit. She loves animals but once she gets close to them she freaks out and is very scared of them.

I always love when I get to go out with my mom and sisters. We had a fun time yesterday at dinner and walking around a bunch of little shops. It was pretty chilly outside but we were prepared.

Reveal!

So we decided that after almost a year of living in our condo, we should make it look like someone is actually living here. We painted and got some new decorations. It was actually quite a big undertaking but I'm glad we did it. Thanks to my sisters who basically helped me pick all the decorations out. We still need a few things here and there but I really love it and it feels like a home finally. Sorry there's lots of pics but I wanted to show you the before so you could appreciate the after more!

This if definately my favorite part of our improvements
