Blah...

Have you ever had a day where you're just in a bad mood and don't know why? Well, that's me today. And the more someone asks me about it, the worse I feel. I guess I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Any remedy to fix this? And no food wont help I started a weight loss plan yesterday! I'm hopefully going to lower my BMI by five points because I'm technically overweight at the moment. :-( Someone help!!! I think it would help if I played with the princess, it's been awhile! ha ha :-)

Our Dear Prophet

Our beloved prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley has passed away. It's sad to lose his guidance and leadership, but I'm glad for the sealing power and to know that he is with his sweet wife now and for eternity. It is so odd to me to think that we do not currently have a prophet. President Hinckley has been the prophet since I was 7 years old. I guess as I enter into this new phase into my life it will be under new direction. I love the church and how it has no faults in the way it is set up and run. I'm grateful for the Holy Ghost and the leaders that listen to it and are there for us to look to them. I love this work.

Birthday goodies.

I had the best birthday!!! After breakfast I went and got my hair done. No one knew about it except Husband. (yes I actually can keep a secret!)I went to one of the schools to get it done. I love it. I'll post pics later! Then, Husband gave me clothes and movies! We went to Red Lobster with my parents. Thanks Mom and Dad!!! Those cheddar biscuits are to die for!!! Can you believe that Husband doesn't like them? He thinks they're too dry! He's crazy sometimes!! ha ha jk I went shopping after and got an outfit for Husband's Nephew's missionary farewell on Sunday. Plus I got some other things. I love getting new clothes. When we returned to my parents' for cake and ice cream I was greeted by an ambush of silly string. It was pretty funny, my hair was covered. At least it was pink!!! My older bro gave me money that I'll probably buy a purse with, or a new straightener. I haven't decided yet. My sister gave me a shirt of the best college in the world and a big block U. I'm not really sure how to describe it but it looks awesome on our bookcase!!! My other sister got me a lotion gift set from victoria secret. I love those smells. My other sister (yes I have a lot of sisters) got me three shirts and a pair of jeans. She also decorated the house in streamers and banners and balloons. She knows me so well. My litte brother gave me the best surprise of all. He gave me $100! Don't get too excited, I don't have some rich brother. He had forgotten to give me a wedding card from a lady in the neighborhood had so it made for a really good birthday present!! Woo Hoo. Thanks to everyone who made my birthday amazing!

Today is my birthday!!! Now I'm officially NOT a teenager. We had breakfast at my moms. It has started out as a very great day!!!

"the practice"

I love the tv show “the practice”. Once I start watching, I just can’t stop! It is definitely my favorite show. Luckily, my mom got the entire set of all the seasons so I get to borrow two dvds at a time! It keeps me up to late almost every night, but I thoroughly enjoy it! Maybe it’s just cause my dad is a defense attorney so I feel like I know what he’s talking about when he tells me about his cases! Lol I just love the show!

Called to serve

Here is my second oldest nephew on Husband's side. He turns 19 in April. (yes he's 1 year and 3 months younger than me). He has been called to go to the Florida, Tampa LDS mission. He's the oldest in his family and we're all thrilled for him. He got his call yesterday and he reports to the MTC on the 30th! The reason he has no time to plan is that he plays college football and the coaches told the first presidency they wanted him back by Jan. 2010, so they express shipped his call and he's outta here! Good luck nephew! We know you'll do great!

Here are my three nephews. They are so awesome. If I could quit my job and live at my sister's I totally would. Cause she's awesome, but more importantly, her kids are too! I have seen these kids just about once a week since they were born. Husband always makes fun of me cause I think of excuses to go see them. I love little kids and especially these ones. The oldest is nine (almost ten), then eight, then five. Yes, I've been an aunt since I was ten years old. Pretty crazy. I just wanted to highlight them cause they're such cool kids. I have 18 nieces and nephews total, but only four come from my side, so naturally I'm closer to them. Hear this, I'm even younger than one of my nephews! Four years younger! And yes I make him call me Aunt Jessica lol it's hilarious. Anyway, ta ta for now!

A new blog...already?

Okay so I have had my blog for less than 24 hours and I'm already changing the background. Now you can see how busy I am at work! (which is not at all) I'm totally bored. I'll probably change the colors of my blog A LOT because it's wintertime and people don't really like to walk around a freezing car lot all day to buy a car. We do get sales during this time of year, but I'm not busy at all at the moment! Anyway, just a heads up in case my blog never looks the same!

"Let them eat cake"

Jen this is for you. Last night I made my first cake as a married woman. Most wouldn't think this was so hard, but I only have a toaster oven to cook it in, so I can't go off the box on how long or what temperature you're supposed to cook things. I felt almost like a pioneer! ha ha kidding mom. I love this pan. It was a gift to us for the wedding. It has hearts on it! Husband was at school and I was at home not feeling well and I decided, since husband has been treating me so well and totally taking care of me, I would make him and after school snack. He was totally surprised and kept telling me he loved it so I was happy. This picture was before I put the frosting on because you had to see the cute hearts. And bonus points for me: I made the frosting from scratch! It was my first time ever! Thank you cake doctor!!!

Well here it is. My first official post on my blog. Here's a little about myself. I am almost 20 (in 11 days to be exact!!!) I got married on August 11, 2007 to the best man in the entire world. He treats me like a princess and that's all that's required! lol jk My husband grew up in a small, small town. And I mean small. There's only one stoplight! He grew up on a farm and we sure do love to visit down there. It's very peaceful and calm. I'll post pics later. Husband is also going to school, so we are busy busy. We both work at the same place (that's how we met), a Pontiac/Buick/GMC/Hummer/Kia car dealership. Husband works in service coordinating accessories and I answer phones and invoice in all the new vehicles we get. I spend a lot of time with my family and it's my favorite thing to do. I love movies and romance. My nickname from my beloved bro-in-law is jfj aka junk food jess. I love to eat things that are unhealthy. Anyway, my unofficial major is Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Fitness Leadership. I may not eat good things, but I sure know how to work it off! lol Anyway, that's a little about me!
