Fruit

I really love fruit. I guess it's just cause I love sugar and fruit is natural sugar. Oh well it's healthier than eating starbursts!!! lol I went shopping on Monday and bought grapes and oranges and I'm so glad I did. Today I brought grapes to work and I love munching on them. Soon I'll make my way toward vegetables lol maybe in about a century! Just an update on my "diet" I'm counting calories every weekday. I pretty much hate it and feel like I eat nothing, but it's getting better and it's nice to have the weekend to not worry about it, but I try not to totally pig out. I'm down a measley (is that a word?) 1.5 pounds so that's not very encouraging. Oh well, my goal is to get healthy so I'm at least on the right track. I'll get it down eventually!!! And I'm pretty much eating only fat free candy so that is an improvement. Well, I'll update later, maybe when I'm down 2 pounds in three months!!! lol Have a grrrreeeeeaaaaaattttt day!!! :-)

Night and Day

Isn't it amazing how one day you can be the biggest grouch and the next day the total opposite? I must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed yesterday! I was upset because of everything...including waking up late, looking horrible, fighting with husband, making mistakes, phone constantly ringing. Or maybe I was just mad because someone thought it was funny to pay $15,000.00 for a car and $5,500.00 of it was in cash and the rest in COINS!!!! Not even joking. Luckily most of it was rolled but we had to count $342.50 in fifty cent pieces. That's 685 fifty cent pieces in case any of you were wondering. I don't think I've ever seen my boss that mad. lol Yesterday was just one of those days that everything seemed to go wrong. But I got to work out last night and laugh with my sister so that helped relieve my stress. So, today is great! It is such a beautiful and warm day! Woo Hoo! Flip flop season is coming! (already here if you're wendy) I need to stop taking advantage of my life and enjoy all the little things that make life great. We never know how much time we have. I love you all!!!

I told him it was and he needed to do it in person lol. So, kinda he did but technically I guess I said it to him on the phone a day or so later.

11. Who mows the lawn: neither we don't have to because we're in an apartment. But if we did, I'm sure it would be him because I've never mowed a lawn in my entire life!!!

This is where we live. Well, where we sleep pretty much. I'm not totally organized but we're working on it slowly. You think it'd be hard to organize 450 square feet but it is for me okay!!! Unwelcome Guests

I'm ashamed to admit this, but we have had some critters that have made our home their home this winter. We discovered some torn up paper and other signs in our laundry room that we had mice. We bought normal traps but they weren't working, so we got the sticky traps and we caught two on Saturday. In a way it is good but I felt real bad too. Hopefully the problem will be solved soon!

Husband

Turned out Husband has strep, so I couldn't even kiss him on Valentines Day!!! :-( But he's on an antibiotic and is doing tons better and is back at work! Love you Husband!!!

New Addition

Well, my mom and dad have added a new addition to their family! (My brother and sister talked them into it, it wasn't their choice!) It's Bella, a dalmation mix. She's so cute. Sonny, my mom and dad's other dog, is still adjusting to Bella but it'll be okay. My nephews and niece really seem to like her. She'll be a good companion to Sonny and my mom when my brother moves away to school! Welcome Bella!!!

Woo Hoo!

I'm now related to the first 3-time state champ of Cyprus High School!!! We're all so pleased with how my bro did and it was very exciting to see him do so well! He also got outstanding wrestler. It was especially neat because Husband got to be a coach in his corner. He felt very honored when my bro asked him. It was an experience we'll never forget! Great Job bro!!! You amaze me!!!

Wrestling

Husband is sick today. :-( Hope he gets better soon. So, today starts the state wrestling for my little brother. Hope all goes well! Good Luck Matt! An added bonus is that I get to take off work for it! Woo Hoo! I have great gals I work with that cover for me so thanks Lindsay and Nikki! I probably wont be posting for a couple days. FYI

HELP!!!

So, I've decided to join my mom as she teaches women in her ward about health and fitness. Yes, I'm an enrolled student. It has helped motivate me to lose the thousand pounds I've gained since the wedding. Husband is just to nice to tell me that I need to start working out again. I'm just lazy and sit in an office all day long and I'm tired when I get home or I have school work. Anywho...Last night we learned about how to eat right. blah! As you can recall from my first post my nickname doesn't coincide with nutrition. So, starting soon (maybe monday lol) I need to write down everything I eat and become a calorie counter. I hate doing this. I'm horrible at it and my mom has done it like everyday for about two years. It's hard for me, but I'm gonna do it. I'm determined. The below is what I need to do. ha ha we'll see how it goes. Hopefully the scale will start going back down the other way! I need it!

Is that Ashton???!!!!

No silly! It's Kyle Korver. My newest favorite player of the Utah Jazz.

He is such an amazing player. I know this shot isn't in his Utah Jazz uniform but what a sweet shot huh!!! I went to the game last night with my brother. They played the New Orleans Hornets and they won 110-88! It was such a good game. Korver had 20 points, 18 of which were 3-pointers! Everytime they got the ball I would yell "GIVE IT TO KORVER!" Okay not everytime, but I should've. He hit four "in a breathless 2-minute, 16-second stretch to open the second quarter" It was awesome! And I would like to prove my dad wrong who said he was 5 for 11. He was actually 6 for 8. (one shy of his career record) Pretty impressive. He has such a nice shot and I'd much rather have him than Giricek. (sorry if it's spelled wrong) The crowd was chanting his name and this was what his response was, "Yeah that was embarrassing," he said sheepishly afterward. "I don't need that." How humble!

Here's my favorite player. Ronnie Brewer. He had a sweet dunk last night. I think he's great. Before last night I didn't like Deron Williams at all. But after the most amazing dunk and 29 points last night, he's beginning to grow on me! HA HA the game and dinner was a blast! Thanks bro!

Jordan River Temple

On Friday we got the chance to do sealings in the Jordan River Temple. It was so spiritual. Sadly it was the first time we've visited the temple since our own wedding day. On Saturday we got to sleep in (a rare occassion) it was so relaxing. We watched the funeral of our dear prophet in the early afternoon. I had a surprisingly hard time with it, knowing I'll never hear him speak to us again. But it was still very spiritual and I'm glad he's with his eternal companion. At night we got the chance to go to the Jordan River Temple again for a session with my sister and brother-in-law. I learned so much and it was so great. I felt so uplifted afterwards and it makes me want to go much more often. I loved it.
